Announcements 6-12-12

News from Team USA

Culminating Event
Team USA held its final culminating event of the year on June 7, 2012.  Team USA would like to thank all the parents, relatives and friends for being a great audience and supporting their son or daughter.  It was encouraging to have a standing room only crowd!

The Everywhere We Go Awards is a student organized and produced program. Students take time to reflect on their time in Team USA, a learning community at St. Albans City School. Students, organized in small groups, shared speeches, skits, songs, and comments about what we have accomplished. Each group's production was organized into a larger show that took the shape of an awards show in the fashion of a Hollywood award show.

Kindergarten Carnival
Team USA hosted a carnival for Bright Beginnings.  Students enjoyed face painting, tatoos, sack races, parachute games, sponge toss, and various other games.
