News from Team Discovery
Discovery students have been using a useful website called LearnZillion. LearnZillion is a learning platform that combines video lessons, assessments, and progress reporting. Each lesson highlights a Common Core standard, starting with math in grades 3-9. Students at all different levels find the lessons needed that coincide with their own math goals. These sixth graders, equipped with ear buds, watch an interactive math video with models to review adding and subtracting fractions. After the lesson, they move to guided practice problems.

A Note from The SACS Energy Committee
In an effort to reduce the Carbon footprint of this community, could you please shut your car off if waiting outside of the school for more than 30 seconds. Research shows that this saves gas, reduces pollution and has no adverse effect on the engine.
Thank you
