Everyone was learning and the energy was powerful. Thursday, February 7th, St. Albans City School 7th and 8th grade students took an amazing field trip to the Northwest Technical Center as part of their theme work on Healthy Choices. The students were studying financial literacy, careers and making good education choices. The field trip gave them the opportunity to experience some of the careers they are considering, and to learn from the students at the Northwest Technical Center (NWTC) about the careers and the path to get there. Each student was exposed to an hour experience in two of eleven possible education and career options; Engineering Technology, Digital Video Production, Public Safety and Fire Services, Medical Professions, Marketing, Human Services, Culinary Arts, Digital Arts, Cosmetology, Automotive Technology and Building Trades.
Team Triumph is going to Jay Peak today (2/11).
