SACS was fortunate to receive a $500.00 grant from Switchyard Mobil in St. Albans. The grant will allow our school to buy supplies for a new 3D printer that will support Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education. Ms. Bertucci, STEM Facilitator, was unable to attend the presentation because she was attending the annual UVM Engineering Day with over 50 SACS students.
Mrs. Andrews accepted the check from Ms. Favreau, Manager of Switchyard Mobil.
WordMasters
WordMasters will start back up again today! In order to provide more individual attention and assistance to each and every student we are going to try a new system for the last test. Word Masters will be split up by grades on the two days. We would like 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to attend Word Masters on Tuesdays and 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to attend on Thursdays. This would allow us to have a single teacher working with each grade for the entire WIN time.
Band
Full Jr. Band is rehearsing today at 12:15.
5th and 6th grade band lessons and Jr. Band should not be impacted by testing today, so please remember your times.
Because of the faculty meeting this afternoon, there is not string lesson for 5th grade violins today.
Tech Squad
It's cancelled for today.
News from Team Triumph
4th-6th graders come to the dance this Friday from 6-8pm. Team Triumph students created a dance to "Keep Your Head Up" and made this video. Watch it, learn the moves, and then join us at the dance in a "flash mob"! See you there!

Open Doors Archery begins today Tuesday, March 11th
Session A students will go the cafeteria at their
dismissal time. Session B students will go to
Bus #2 and check in with Ms. Ayers before boarding the bus.
Open Doors CHOMP at BFA begins today, Tuesday, March 12th.
Session A students will go to the cafeteria at their dismissal
time. Session B students will go to Bus #4 and check in with
Ms. Champagne before boarding the bus.
This is a reminder that Session B students attending What A Yarn
will go to Bus #6 and check in with Ms. Champagne before boarding the bus.
Lego Challenge and In the Kitchen are also meeting today.
