Announcements 10-7-13

Safety Signs

The Creamery has put signs up to make walking and biking to school safer.

Helmets 

There will be one more bicycle and ski helmet order placed this Fall.  Please fill in an order form by Friday October 11th and return it to Mitch Craib, Room AC217 craibm@fcsuvt.org  527-0565 x3217.  Order forms can be picked up at the school's front desk.


Please wear your helmet every time you bicycle, skateboard or rollerblade.  Be a role model for your peers by always protecting your head. 

Band

5th grade strings have their lesson today at 2:45.

Jr. Band is not rehearsing tomorrow, and there are no band or string lessons during or after school on Tuesday.

Open Doors

The following Open Doors classes begin today, Monday October 7th:

Horseback Riding
  • Session B students taking Horseback Riding will board Bus #3 at 3:10.  Horseback Riding students will check in with Open Doors at bus #3 before boarding the bus. 

Leadership Training at BFA
  • Session B students taking Leadership Training at BFA will board bus #4 at 3:10.
            Leadership training students will check in with Open Doors at bus #4 before    boarding the bus.

Girl Scouts, A World of Girls-is held at City School
Be Green and Be Creative- is held at City School
Golf- All golf students will meet Miss Suzanne in cafeteria at their dismissal time.

All session A students taking Open Doors classes go to the cafeteria at 2:45 dismissal.

It is very important that all students riding the buses afterschool follow the bus expectations. 

Walk & Bike to School Day

Don’t forget about walking or biking to and from school on Friday the 11th.  Come on your own or join one of our “walking school buses”.  Parents are encouraged to participate.
