News from Renaissance

The Renaissance community is working with the Friends of Northern Lake Champlain, the Franklin County Mountain Bike Club, Sinuosity (a , St. Albans City, St. Albans Town, Hard'ack, and Aldis Hill in an effort to improve the Hard'ack and Aldis Hill trail system. In addition to having more exciting (and sustainable) trails for everyone, this project focuses on reducing the non-point source pollution that is causing the increase in blue-green algae in Lake Champlain.

In this effort, we'd like your assistance. Simply fill out this form sharing your experiences on the trails. The data we collect will be used by Sinuosity to help make the right choices for those who enjoy this amazing local resource.

Walking Challenge Results May 5-9th

Golden Shoe Award.jpg

The Golden Shoe Award goes to Incredibles for a week and a half of huge mileage.  I understand some of the Incredibles are using the excellent strategy of walking to and from school to help boost their total miles.  Remember that each walking mile to and from school counts double.  (Biking miles to school are not doubled.)

Fai-To

SACS Students have been offered the chance to challenge another school to a Fai-To for up to nine rounds of head to head math competitions.
