Composting Awareness Week

In celebration of International Compost Awareness week, a wonderful web page was created by Highfield's Center for Composting.  Please check out the video and the links to find something fun and interesting about why we compost.

If you would like to start composting at home please contact Heather Smith at smithh@fcsuvt.org.  Kitchen compost buckets are available for free upon request.  Northwest Solid Waste District on Rewes Drive in St. Albans collects compost for free everySaturday morning and Wednesday evening.
