The SACS Energy Convention was hosted by Team USA. Students from City School visited the Team USA area to learn about a variety of energy topics. Stations included topics on global warning, power management, light bulb choices, and analyzing data consumption. Team USA manned each station and shared their knowledge with each group. VEEP was a major supporter of the program.
Band lessons for 5th and 6th grade are not happening today.
The last day of school for students in first, second, fourth, fifth, and eighth grade is Thursday June 19th.
Students currently in Kindergarten , third grade and sixth grade have Step Up Day on Friday June 20th.
Seventh graders are asked to attend Step Up Day this year.
On Step Up Day, buses will be picking up A and B sessions together. They will start picking up A session at 7:00AM and B immediately after so that everyone arrives at 7:30. Both sessions will be dismissed at 9:45.
Kindergarten will be picked up at their normal time and they will be dismissed at 10:15.
There are many students planting vegetable gardens around school and veggies are sprouting!! Please be careful and respectful of gardens when walking around school. Students should NOT be walking on the curbing of gardens. Please remind students before walking to stay on sidewalks/grass.
Congratulations to Dynamic Design, Discovery, Renaissance, and Bright Beginnings on planting their gardens.
The 7/8 Girls Softball Team has a game today in Westford at 4:00pm.
