Band

Today is cello day for City School orchestra students.

Mr. Mehaffey needs any beginning band sign up papers that you have. If you need another sheet, please see Mr. M today. If you get it in on Monday or Tuesday, that will be ok.

5th graders should come to the band room today at 2 for a demonstration of violin and cello, for this years beginning strings.

Open Doors

Open Doors Brochures will be available on Friday, September 12th.  Open Doors will

distribute in lunchroom and to classrooms of students in grades 1-3.  Brochures will also be available on Open Doors webpage.

To download the registration form all you need to do is go to Open Doors webpage:

• Go to City School’s homepage
• Click on Family Resource tab
• Click on Open Doors tab and then click on brochure.

Please complete registration form and return it to the Open Door office.  

 Please note that the Start date for the Leadership class at BFA has been changed to allow more students to access the class.

Bicycle/Skate/Ski Helmet Orders 

Due September 26th

There will be ONE helmet drive this Fall.  Anyone needing to order a bicycle, skate boarding, or ski helmet should pick up an order form from the bulletin board area of the school's front lobby.  Contact Mitch Craib at craibm@fcsuvt.org 802 527 0565 x3217 with questions.  If price is a concern, please let Mitch know.  Everyone riding on wheels or skis should be wearing a helmet.  Link to helmet order form that can be printed out.

2014-2015 Health Updates

If you have not yet completed your child's yearly health update (it is a green sheet this year), please do so and send it back.  This is very important as it provides us with any new health information, provides permission for certain over the counter medications and treatment in the case of an emergency situation.

Athletics

The 5/6 Soccer Teams have games tomorrow at home starting at 4:00pm.
