Ribbon Cutting Today

Be sure you are on the field and lined up by 9:00 this morning for the Walking Path Ribbon Cutting and Ceremony hosted by the SACS Land Committee and our very special guest St. Albans Mayor Liz Gamache!

The short ceremony will be followed by a walk on the path. It is going to be chilly so please remember to DRESS WARM

Big thanks to Team Renaissance who cleaned up got the path looking beautiful and ready for our ceremony and walk today!

Band

Beginning Band lessons will be starting on Monday, next week. If you are playing alto sax, clarinet, flute, trumpet or trombone, please bring your instrument to school on Monday. If you already have a lesson book, please bring that also. If you already have your instrument, don't forget to bring it.

Mr. Mehaffey will not be doing band or string lessons on Friday, so there are no cello lessons tomorrow morning.

Full orchestra is rehearsing this afternoon.

Hannaford Helps Schools!

When does 4 = 3? When you help your school earn school dollars, and it all starts with your next shopping trip to Hannaford.  For every 4 participating products you buy, your school earns $3. Look for the schoolhouse shelf tags in-store to find the items you need. Use this shopping companion to get you started: http://www.hannaford.com/assets/hf/assets/pdf/cms/abouthannaford/HHS_ShoppingCompanion.pdfPlace the school dollars coupon earned at the register in the St. Albans City School slot in the collection tower at the front of the store to make sure we get those dollars!

Athletics

The 5/6 Soccer Teams have games in Alburgh this afternoon. Girls at 4:15 and Boys and 5:15.  Parents need to provide transportation.

The 7/8 Soccer Teams have games at SATEC this afternoon.

The 5-6 Girls Soccer Team did an awesome job in their game on Tuesday afternoon against St. Albans Town School.  Defense kept the ball away from our net and midfielders did a great job passing the ball to forwards. Forwards did great by finishing with five goals. The final score was 5-0.  Way to Go Ladies!
