Kindergarten students harvested beets from their garden. The beets were sliced and baked into chips by Mr. Lewis. Everyone got to try the chips and most people enjoyed them. Some kids went back for multiple samples.

Lessons for Jr. Band will be happening today and on Tuesday. Please do not be late for your assigned time.
The Sr. Band will be performing for the Sr. Citizens coming to school on Thursday. We will be playing before the dinner, at 12:30-1, approximately. Mr. Mehaffey will let teachers and students know more information as plans are finalized.
Beginning string lessons are this afternoon.

Congratulations to: Isaac, Alan, Colin, and Shylese for experiencing the awesome feeling of flight at the Franklin County Airport. Let them tell you about their experience.
The other students enrolled in the class will be flying this coming week. It was a lot of fun to watch them take off and see their expressions when they got off the plane. And....the runway lights were turned on for the last flight, which was so pretty to see!

All session A students taking Open Doors classes go to the cafeteria at 2:45 dismissal.
It is very important that all students riding the buses after school follow the bus expectations.
