Announcements 3-5-15

News from Team USA



 St. Albans City School was honored with a Green Star Flag from Efficiency Vermont and from C
urt Spaulding, Regional Administrator, Environmental Protection Agency.

 Team USA went to the acceptance ceremony. We were the only student presenters from the 20+ schools that won the award. City School and Team USA won rave reviews from the Mayor (Director of Efficiency Vermont), Richard Donnelly from Efficiency Vermont and the EPA.

The ceremony took place in Montpelier.

Band

Mr. Mehaffey is out today, and there is no jr. or sr. band, or lessons.

Drama

Drama is canceled today.

Open Doors


The following Open Doors classes meet today, Thursday, March 5th:
  • Lets Beat the Djembe Drum
  • Djembe Drummers Play it Again

Please note:  Start date for the language classes will be set if there are enough students for the classes.  If you are interested in taking Spanish or French classes at BFA please let Open Doors know.

All session A students taking Open Doors classes go to the cafeteria at 2:45 dismissal.


It is very important that all students riding the buses after school follow the bus expectations. 

National School Breakfast Week

Breakfast = Brain Power! It's important to eat breakfast everyday - be sure your breakfast includes whole grain, protein and fiber and it can help with concentration and memory which can help you do your best in school.
