Announcements 4-6-15

SACS Sweeps E-Cybermission!

SACS students took first place in eCybermission for the state in 6th grade, 7th grade and 8th grade and 2nd place in 7th grade.
First Place Winners: Team USA 8th graders Jordon, Jillian, Briana and Olivia won for smart windshield wipers and Renaissance 7th graders Maya, Chloe and Abe won for a school rain garden.

Second Place Winners:  Renaissance 7th graders Jaylin, Abby and Ella won for Hard'ack trails.

First place winners: Incredibles 6th graders Peter, Colin, Issac and Mason for maple sugar tubes.


eCYBERMISSION is a web-based, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) competition  for students in grades six through nine. Sponsored by the U.S. Army, eCYBERMISSION challenges students to think about real-world applications of STEM by working in teams to identify a problem in their community and use the scientific method, scientific inquiry or engineering design process to find a solution.

The Autism Kaleidoscope team would like to thank everyone for all of your hard work and participation, it was very clear that everyone took a lot of time and effort into creating some beautiful works of art! ( which made judging very hard! )  You are all AU- SOME!

Band

Jazz Band will be rehearsing today at 2, instead of Sr. Band.

Jr. Band lessons are on for today, please do not be late.

Beginning String lessons are this afternoon.


Jr. Band will not be rehearsing on Tuesday.

Fitness Team Practice 

Practice will be on Monday 4/6 and Thursday 4/9 from 3:20-4:30pm

Session A students should report to the cafeteria at 2:40 until dismissal at 3:10.

Open Doors



The following Open Doors classes meet today, Monday, April 6th:
  • Ready, Set, Cook
  • Bubble Bonanza
  • Girls on the Run


 All session A students taking Open Doors classes go to the cafeteria at 2:45 dismissal.  It is very important that all students riding the buses after school follow the bus expectations.
