News from Renaissance

*video will not display in email -

Renaissance recently entered the World Water Day Challenge hosted by the Lake Champlain Basin Program.  This was a great way to summarize the work we have been doing towards the Rain Garden for our school.

Band

The SACS Music Department is presenting a combined concert of the Jr. Band, Jazz Band and Sr. Band on April 15, Wednesday evening, at 7 pm in the cafeteria. Music from The Wizard of Oz, marches, and exciting pieces for band will be performed. This is a great chance for students of all performing grades, to hear each other, and to show their talents for everyone.

Sr. Band is rehearsing today.

Jr. Band is not rehearsing today, but there are drum lessons and bass guitar for Jr. Band this afternoon.

8th grade violins are having lessons this morning at 11:30.

Athletics

The 7/8 boys baseball team will have practice Tuesday and Thursday night in the big gym from 6:00-7:30.  Please wear sneakers.
