Local Cafeteria Offerings
Did you know many choices in the cafeteria come from Vermont and even Franklin County?  This means our food travels less to get to us and supports our Green Mountain State farmers and producers!!

The map of Vermont in the cafeteria is updated every Monday with the Vermont products the Abbey Group is offering and where they are coming from within our state.

A Red Barn on the map indicates a Vermont product and a Maple Leaf indicates product produced even closer to us in Franklin County.  Check out these icons on the map and look for these tasty local offerings on the breakfast and lunch line.

Kindergarten Makes Applesauce
The kindergarteners have been making apple sauce using apples they brought back from Hackett's Orchard last week. These pictures show several children putting the cooked apples through a food mill.  All the children involved in making the applesauce had a chance to taste their delicious "homemade" product with no sugar or preservatives added.
