Practice 3:15 to 4:30 pm today. Remember the first race of the season will be tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Arrowhead Golf Course in Milton.
Band
Students in grade 5 and grade 6 are reminded to bring their band instrument and string instrument forms into Mr. Mehaffey or to their homeroom teacher.
Constitution Week
On Thursday 9-17-2015 Mr. Boldosser's and Ms. Bashaw's (Voyagers) 5th and 6th grade students created drawings to mark the beginning of Constitution Week. This week, Sept. 17 to 23rd, commemorates the adoption of the United States Constitution. The purpose of the observance is to promote study and education about the U.S. constitution adopted on September 17th, 1787.
The Art Department is planning on celebrating Day of the Dead
by creating various projects
Day of the dead (Oct. 31st-Nov. 2nd) is a Mexican holiday that gathers people together to remember and pray for friends and loved ones who have passed away.
1st Grade Travelers Students
Renaissance math teacher will be honored for soccer talent and performance
During Castleton University's Homecoming Celebration on Friday September 25th, Luke Laroche will be inducted into the Castleton Hall of Fame. Mr. Laroche (Class of 2004) is the Castleton men’s soccer all-time leading scorer. Laroche was a four-year standout for the Castleton men’s soccer program, rewriting the team’s record book. He concluded his career with program records of 185 points, 75 goals and 35 assists, finishing with 60 more points than any previous Spartan.
