Learning Showcases are happening this week.

Dance TONIGHT for students in Grades 7 and 8
It's $3 to get in and it's from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the cafeteria
There will be a costume contest for this dance

Arrival and Dismissal from Dances:

Students enter through the gymnasium doors and sign themselves into the dance.
School Expectations (Safe, Achieving, Caring) remain at all evening events and that includes dances.
At the end of our dances, chaperones and staff will walk students through the building to our front lobby. We will dismiss from there.

Please be prompt for pick up as staff and chaperones need to get home too. If your student does not have a ride home, please don’t send them to our dances unless they have made arrangements before coming to the dance.

Hudak Farm Field Trip Pictures from Thursday 11-5-2015
1st through 3rd grade Children got to learn about composting, processing dried corn, farm stands, farm animals and pumpkins and gourds. Field trip opportunities like these help younger students make farm to school and local food connections. Hudak farm is generous to host waves of our students visiting each year.

Cheerleading Opportunity for children ages 4 through 4th Grade
St. Albans Youth Cheer (Note: this program is independent of St. Albans City School)
Sign ups are are Nov. 14th 12-1 pm
Collins Perley Complex
Cost is $60 (this includes an 8 week program, USE of a uniform and a Competition)

Practice is on Sundays from 12:30-2:00pm for grades 1-4 and 12:30-1:15pm for Pre-k and Kindergarten
