Band
Mr. Mehaffey is not in today. Sr. Band will be staying with their teams this afternoon. He will be in Tuesday for jr. band lessons and the jr. band pizza party.

The Sr. Band and Jazz Band will be presenting our Winter Holiday concert on Wednesday night, in the cafeteria. We will be starting at 7 pm.




Culminating Events will be going on throughout the week




Incredibles Field Trip to Jay Peak will not happen today
It has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date.  Too warm for good snow.




Lion King Cast
The cast list for the Lion King is up now! Please read the whole thing. If you have a lead role or are a lioness or hyena please see Ms. Hartman for your script. If you are a member of the ensemble I will get you your book next week. Thanks to everyone who auditioned!

Operation Happiness
There are 2 more days to bring in items for Operation Happiness!  Will your team win the brownie sundae party?  





1st-3rd Graders are off to the Movies Tomorrow
The grades 1, 2, and 3 learning communities at SACS will be going to the movies tomorrow.

The Explorers, Team Imagination, The Investigators and The Travelers will be going to the Welden Theatre on Main Street in Saint Albans to see The Peanuts Movie.




Friends of St. Albans City School
Friends of St. Albans City School will be hosting a Craft Fair on Friday, December 18th from 6-7pm in the cafeteria. Feel free to join us in being creative, having fun, and making friends while making items to gift to someone, or just to show off this holiday season. There is no cost for this activity.




Day of Code
City School students having awesome time in Codesmyths on Day of Code! Students got to experiment and code on computers, with arduinos, ipads, and many different types of robots. It was a blast!   Expect more day of code pictures on another day this week.

Kindergarteners Learn about Stable Shapes
Mr. Lewis, and other instructors, explain stable shapes to kindergarten children. The students then got a chance to try building effective structures on their own with spaghetti and tiny marshmallows.  A success!

The Sixth Grade Voyagers were helping the Fifth Grade Voyagers on their first day working in the Raider's Treasure Chest last Friday. Look for Holiday items this Friday to fill your stockings!
