Kingdom Creamery Taste Test
On Friday 12-11-2015, a Kingdom Creamery representative from East Hardwick Vermont came by our school at lunch to offer taste tests of their yogurt. Many of you had an opportunity to see what you thought. Here are pictures of a few students trying out the yogurt.

Join us for a Learning Showcase at St. Albans City School in the cafeteria from 4:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, December 17th. This will be a culminating event for the Open Doors program: West African Drum and Dance.

Thanks to a grant from the Vermont Arts Council and a partnership with our Open Doors program, we are fortunate to have teaching artists visiting SACS for the next few weeks.  This week and next they will be offering workshops through Open Doors and on the 17th there will be a showcase at 4:00.  Please feel free to come watch the kids perform as well as Jamilah Vogel (SACS Guidance Counselor) and the artists from Jeh Kulu.

During the week of 12/14-12/18, Artists from Jeh Kulu  will be at SACS teaching workshops  on West African Dance and Drum during music and PE classes.  Our art teachers have been working on a West African Art project as well.  www.jehkulu.org
