No Outside Recess Today
It is a Red Flag Day.  With brisk winds and temperatures around 10 degrees it is best to stay inside.

Kindergarteners and Team Explorers learn about owls
Three owls were brought to St. Albans City School to further these young student's natural science education. All three owls had been hit by cars, probably when flying low across a road at night in search of pray. None will be able to fly normally again and are now traveling around to schools for educational purposes.  Only their handler was allowed to hold and touch these remarkable birds.  Students could get close to the owls and had a lot of questions for the handler.
