Band

The band lesson schedule for next week is now out at the band room.
Jazz Band members will have lessons on Monday for Alto Sax, Drums, and Trombones. Please check the schedule for your time.
Beginning cello is on Monday morning at 8:00 AM. Please remember, and full orchestra is on next Thursday morning.

Saturday's Rotary Bus to Smuggler's Notch Ski Resort Cancelled
Skiers and Snowboarders, the Rotary ski bus has been canceled this week due to lack of snow on the mountain.

Outside Recess
It looks like a good day to go outside. Temperatures will be in the mid 20s and there will be moderate winds.

PreK learning
A student in Ms. Adam's PreK class plays in the bear cave that the class worked on cooperatively. He wears a handmade bear mask! We did a bear study this week, and also learned about hibernation!

Voyagers Math
Ms. Pallas and Ms. Mitchell help students learn fractions.

Assessing the Maple Sugar Trees

Mr. Branon and students from Team Triumph examine the maple trees that they tap around the school each year. It won't be long before the sap is running again and Team Triumph is boiling sap down into maple syrup.

Boots

The school now has boots for wet and muddy outdoor learning projects. They are housed with Ms. Pallas and the Voyagers. This location is appropriate, given that the Voyagers are overseeing the school's wetlands project. There are boot sizes to accommodate many different sizes of feet. Other communities can use the boots and just need to work out the details of use with Ms. Pallas.

Visiting Nursing Students

St. Albans City School nurse Kane provides practical experiences for visiting Vermont Technical College nursing students Savannah and Brittany. If you happen to see them in our school, please welcome them.
