Access to Playground and going outside:
No-one is to be outside during testing times.
  • Outside the testing window, teams can take students outside but no-one can use the playground - the fields or walking track are the only options. (The window of time is just too small for the playground to be a safe option for students)
  • It is going to be beautiful out - please get creative and use the fields when testing is not happening.

Walking Contest Results from Last Week

The Voyagers easily had the most laps accumulated this past week.  They won the right to display the golden shoe until next week.  Impressive walking Voyagers!  Any team can win the golden shoe with enough focus.  The first week the Voyagers were in 4th place.  Last week they moved to first.
GOLDEN SHOE CONTEST (WEEK 2)

Voyagers

The overall standings are as follows.  Voyagers are in the lead with Discovery, Triumph and Travelers not far behind.  If you want more laps, remember that during SBAC days laps count double.  Record laps as normal and Mr. Craib will double your laps at the time of tallying.
OVERALL STANDINGS (WEEK 2)

Travelers learned how much sugar can be found in common drinks

Ms. Frost from RiseVT visited the travelers and had students measure out the teaspoons of sugar listed on the ingredient labels found on beverages.  It was shocking to see how much sugar beverages like gatorade and orange juice contain.
