For snacks today we have Strawberries
We had thought it would be plums but the ones we have won't be ripe enough to eat until tomorrow
  • The strawberry, a member of the rose family, is the only fruit with seeds on the outside.
  • Strawberries are the first fruit to ripen in the spring.
  • Eight strawberries will provide 140 percent of the recommended daily intake of Vitamin C for kids.

Students may take two fruit servings with each meal. They must take at least one.
