Walking Wednesday Results
Ninety nine intrepid students and 14 adults walked in on a rainy and thundering Wednesday morning (9-14-2016). Thank you to the staff and family members who supported this event.  Team Triumph had the greatest turnout of their students for the walk.  Incredibles and Imagination were right behind them.

PreK and Kindergarten Orientation Report
Over one hundred parents and family members attended the PreK/Kindergarten orientation offered on Wednesday 9-14-2016.  Parents and family members were introduced to teachers, the layout of the building and classrooms, transportation options and the outline of their children's daily schedules.  The visitors also learned how to get involved with the school on field trips, in the classroom, with the Friends of St. Albans City School (PTO) organization and with announcements and newsletters. The school welcomes all the family members associated with our youngest students.

Plums are for Snacks Today

  • Plums are an excellent source of Vitamin C that helps the body heal cuts and wounds.
  • Vitamin C helps the body to absorb more iron from foods. Throw in some sliced plums in your spinach salad or cook meat/chicken with plums to get the most iron out of them!
  • Other notable nutrients include Vitamin A and K, dietary fiber and potassium.
