Are you a Price Chopper Shopper? Have you heard about the Tools for Schools program?

You can earn points for our school every time you use your AdvantEdge Card at Price Chopper. (Don't have an AdvantEdge Card? Sign up at Price Chopper Customer Service - It's Free!). Register your AdvantEdge Card once (it only takes 1 minute!), and every purchase you make will earn points for our school all year long at no extra cost or obligation to you. We can use these points for needed supplies, books, and enrichment tools!

Register here: http://www.pricechopper.com/savings/tools-for-schools (or pricechopper.com, click on "Tools for Schools" under "Savings"). All you need is your AdvantEdge card number and our school code: 15259.

Or, send your name and 10-digit Price Chopper Card Number to maguireb@fcsuvt.org. (No Internet access? Get the information to your child's teacher and they will pass it on to us at school!)

Explorers Animal Rescue Project
Check this 1/2 minute video out:     Link to Video
https://www.youtube.com/embed/O1xXjQ8eXpY

The Explorers are collecting shoes for the animals at the Humane Society. In week one we collected and counted 64 shoes. By the end of week two we had a total of 118 shoes. We have been counting by 2's and using tally marks to keep track as we count! Keep the shoes coming in!!! Thank you!
Shoes will be donated to the Franklin County Animal Rescue and they will sell them to help raise money for the shelter. Shoes too small for you? Does your Mom, Dad Aunt, Uncle, Grandma, Grandpa have shoes in their closet that they don't wear anymore? BRING THEM IN! Every pair counts! We can come together as a school to help the animals in our community without homes! Students bring the shoes to Mrs. Halvorsen's Room.

Thanks a pawful lot.

P.S. Please ask your families first before you bring in shoes to donate.
These are actual photos of just some of the animals we can help.
