Kiwi Facts
Kiwifruit is considered a “nutritional all-star”. A Rutgers University researchers found that kiwifruit has the best nutrient density of 21 commonly consumed fruits.

The fuzzy fruit is also sky-high in both soluble and insoluble fiber, both of which are essential for promoting heart health, regulating digestion, and lowering cholesterol levels—that’s a winning trifecta.

Do you have Box Tops for Education
in your classroom?

It would be VERY helpful if you could do one of the following:
  1. Send a messenger with the Box Tops to Room AC214 (in the Discovery Hallway across from Ms. Tagliamonte's Art Room)
  2. Put them in Ms. Maguire's staff room mailbox (if they fit!)
  3. Reply to this email asking for a representative to come pick them up - please indicate room number AND a good time to pick up.
Please remind students/families to submit Box Tops!!  Informational flyers are attached if you'd like to send info home.

Remember, ALL our learning communities benefit from the proceeds of this program, but we can't raise the money without everyone's help!

THANK YOU!

HOPE Multi Purpose Bench/Picnic Table
The HOPE Classroom would like to thank the group of 7th and 8th graders that worked on the multi purpose bench/picnic table project. It has finally been completed and is ready for use. It will be used by many students in the school for group lunches and project building. The benches also make great place to have a seat and relax. The students worked very hard and should be very proud of the finished quality of the table.

Artwork in the Atrium Outside of the Cafeteria
If you have not noticed the artwork nearby the cafeteria, then you may want to take a look. These pictures are of just a few examples of the work that St. Albans City School students have completed in the first third of the school year. It is interesting to observe the dramatic variations of work done by students even though everyone was guided by a single theme. Check out the art as you pass by.
