PICTURES AND REPORTS
Lions Club Peace Poster Contest Results
Congratulations to the following students who won this year's International Peace Poster Contest for the Swanton Missisquoi Lions Club!
Last Thursday, these three artists were presented an award and a check for their artistic efforts in representing this year's theme: "A Celebration of Peace." Congratulations to all who participated and a special thank you to Mr. Ody LaRoche and the Swanton Missisquoi Lions Club for their support in sponsoring this contest. Way to go City School!
HOPE Multi Purpose Bench/Picnic Table
The HOPE Classroom would like to thank the group of 7th and 8th graders that worked on the multi purpose bench/picnic table project. It has finally been completed and is ready for use. It will be used by many students in the school for group lunches and project building. The benches also make great place to have a seat and relax. The students worked very hard and should be very proud of the finished quality of the table.
Renaissance Students Learning
These pictures of Renaissance students are from their writing, science, and math lessons on Monday morning 11-14-2016. There are many more pictures from these classes that are being shown on the Library TV over the next few days.
Artwork in the Atrium Outside of the Cafeteria
If you have not noticed the artwork nearby the cafeteria, then you may want to take a look. These pictures are of just a few examples of the work that St. Albans City School students have completed in the first third of the school year. It is interesting to observe the dramatic variations of work done by students even though everyone was guided by a single theme. Check out the art as you pass by.
