TOP WALKING PATH PARTICIPANTS LAST WEEK These students walked or ran 1.5 to 2.5 miles per day. TEAM NAME LAPS
INVESTIGATORS - PreK-3rd GRADE WALKING PATH CHAMPIONS LAST WEEK This team completed 325 laps. It is a harder for younger students with shorter legs, and a requirement to stick close to teachers, to complete many many laps. This team did an outstanding job of covering 163 miles total. This is the second time they have been the younger grade champions. Nice work. The Travelers were right behind with 307 laps. KINDERGARTEN EMBRYOLOGY A chick hatched on camera on Monday in Mr. Lewis' room. The egg came from Mrs. Chelsea. Video was taken through the transparent lid of an incubator. Date videoed 5-22-2017. LINK TO VIDEO 7/8 MINECRAFT STUDENTS ATTENDED A LOCAL EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION CONFERENCE 5-22-2017 Four of Mrs. Cameron-Muscente's Minecraft-specialist students traveled to Champlain College to attend the Dynamic Landscapes conference. Once there they showed off their work to many adults and students who came to see technological innovations in student education. The pictures show the students presenting their work and visiting other tables where fascinating technologies were available for testing and explanation. Mr. Lyndes, Ms. Bertucci, and Mr. Craib and Ms. Lucie deLaBruere, all associated with SACS, were also in attendance.
