BE SURE TO HAVE YOUR WALKING CONTEST TALLY SHEETS UPDATED BY THE END OF THE SCHOOL DAY ON FRIDAYS.  THANK YOU.

WALKING CONTEST

This year the walking contest began on Wednesday May 3rd and will continue through the remainder of May.

There are two ways to win...

  1. Community with the most laps completed on the walking path by the end of May.
  2. Community with the highest tally of students who walked into school on Walking Wednesdays throughout May.

The prize for each win will be a one hour pool party at the St. Albans Pool Friday June 15th at either 12:00 or 1:00 pm.

Walking Wednesday tallies will be maintained as usual on Walking Wednesdays with sign in sheets by community.

Walking path tally sheets will be placed in the alcove between USA and Renaissance starting on Wednesday May 3rd.

Results will be posted on Monday or Tuesday of each week.

DREAMERS

Mrs. Gleason's students are pictured here planting lettuce, kale and flowers just as Mr. Lewis' group did above. Other kindergarten and pre-k classrooms were visited by Mrs. Smith on Thursday -although not photographed. All these young students are learning about seeds, germination and the caring of plants. The plant growing experience is part of St. Albans City School's Pre-K/Kindergarten Farm to School program and curriculum.
