SOCCER AND CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING

Soccer and Cross Country (5th-8th grades) will begin soon! Some students signed up at the end of last school year, all other interested students need to see Mrs. Sawyer or Mr. Clark on August 30th to be added to the list. Parents can also sign up via email: asawyer@maplerun.org OR bclark@maplerun.org

7/8 Soccer (Boys and Girls) and 5/6 Girls Soccer will have their first practices on Thursday, August 31st. Times are listed below.

7/8 Boys: 3:15-4:45

7/8 Girls: 3:15-4:45

5/6 Girls: 5:00-6:30

Coaches will hand out schedules and player contracts at this time.

Cross Country has their first practice on Tuesday, September 5th from 3:15 - 4:30

There will be a Fall Athletic Meeting for parents of all fall athletes in the library on Tuesday, September 5th at 4:30. We will go over student athlete expectations and introduce our new Athletic Director, Brian Clark. Coaches will also attend and will end the meeting with their individual teams and address any parent questions. We are asking all fall athletes and their parents/guardians to please attend.

The Boys 5/6 team will have their first practice on Wednesday, September 6th 3:15-4:45.

Forms and Information Packet

Folders containing documents that need to be filled in by St. Albans City School parents/families will be given to students on the first day of school (August 30th).

If a family has more than one child at St. Albans City school, then only one child will receive the folder containing the paperwork for all the siblings. Some of the items included in the folder will be:

Student information verification form
Multimedia permission slip
Technology form
Free/reduced lunch form
Student health information
Home/school compact

St. Albans City School is preparing for the upcoming school year. Teachers are organizing their rooms and planning instruction. Custodians are cleaning the remaining building spaces. Administrators are working on logistics and documents. We are all looking forward to the return of students in a week.

BUS TRANSPORT SCHEDULE FOR 1st-8th Graders

GO TO THIS LINK for the pick-up and drop-off schedules of our 10 school buses.
The first (half) day of school for 1st-8th graders is August 30th.

Please understand that adjustments in pick-up times will be made in the first few weeks of school to ensure that students arrive at school no earlier than 7:25 am.

Walkers and bikers should plan to arrive at school at 7:25 am as well.

The bus schedules for Pre-K and Kindergarten students will be posted once registration nears completion. September 7th is the first day of school for Pre-K and Kindergarteners.

Full Pre-K (4-year-olds) and Kindergarten 8:00 A.M - 2:00 P.M.

1st - 8th Grade 7:30 A.M - 2:50 P.M.

Half Day School Hours are 7:30 A.M. - 10:50 A.M.
