Leonard Parent will be taking team and individual pictures,  photo forms have been given to coaches. Please bring your jersey on picture day!

Students who need to take the late bus must register for it before 12:00 noon - there is no late bus on Fridays.

Busing. Actually our buses are not like this. They ride about half empty most days.

WHY?
Way-to-Go is an Vermont Organization that is trying to get people to use fewer vehicles and be more energy efficient in the way we travel to school. Our school has the same goal.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE SUCCEED IN GETTING MORE THAN 50% HERE EFFICIENTLY on October 4th?
We will have a chance to win a $30,000 dollar solar tracker or a 2-tiered indoor bicycle storage rack.

What is CODESMYTHS you ask?

It is an opportunity to apply your problem solving skills in a self-directed environment where you learn how to program and code for computers of all sizes.  You get to collaborate with fellow classmates and learn a skill that is applicable in school and out in the workforce.  It may even be  a bit of FUN, especially as you get to design what you want to create.

The kick-off event is for 4th - 8th grade students new to Codesmyths, so you can get a better idea of what you do in the course, why we teach it, and how to sign up.

SACS' Box Tops Collection has new life... The EXPLORERS Learning Community has taken over the task of organizing this great program!  

Remember, each Box Top is worth $0.10 for our school and they really add up!  All proceeds directly benefit our students and learning communities.
The first submission deadline is fast approaching. Do you have Box Tops to bring to school?  Please get them to your homeroom teacher ASAP.

OPEN HOUSE
Thanks to everyone for the amazing participation we had on Thursday's open house night. Hundreds of families showed up to meet teachers, share a delicious spaghetti meal, tour the book fair, check out the new sugar and apple cider shack, and interact with various administrators. The cool weather made it a delightful evening.
