DISTRICT SPELLING BEE
SACS hosted the 2017 District Spelling Bee on Wednesday. Spellers from SATEC traveled across town and competed for a seat at the Regional Competition, which will be held later this month. Families and students cheered  the spellers on as Mrs. Wade read from a list of very challenging words!  Town won the 5/6th grade competition and City won the 7/8! Congratulations to all spellers!

WALKING WEDNESDAY
One hundred and sixty six students and 24 adults (190 total) came out for Walking Wednesday on October 11th. It was a cool and clear day - perfect for traveling to school using human power. One hundred and ninety people is a great turnout. Thank you everyone who participated.

The Incredibles regained the top spot with the most students signed in for Walking Wednesday. Way to go!
