FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCE CELEBRATION
Mrs. Lamb's 7/8th graders had fun creating a Fall celebration last week. Recipes included bones made out of pretzels, Rice Krispie pumpkins, a chocolate fountain with strawberries, bananas and marshmallows, gelatin worms in a broccoli garden and a holiday drink!
VOYAGERS HALLOWEEN DANCE PICTURES
Mrs. Bashaw provided these wonderful pictures. Thank you.
IMAGINATION
Each year Team Imagination uses pumpkins for project-based math instruction. On Wednesday 10-27-2017 students in Mrs. Smith's classroom were guided by Mrs. Smith and Ms. Sturgis through a range of math-related pumpkin tasks. Students measured pumpkin hight, circumference, weight and density. Throughout the experiences students were deeply engaged in the estimation and measurement processes. These kinds of lessons make learning meaningful and memorable. On other days this week Imagination students used pumpkin seeds and pumpkin flesh for additional wonderful learning experiences.
