RECESS WEATHER
This is a great snowshoe day!  The snow tubes are also available for use.

PICTURES AND REPORTS

HOPE
The day after tapping the maple trees next to the far end of our walking path HOPE students went out to the woods again to collect the sap from their buckets. They found that each bucket contained from 1 to 3 gallons, a huge and unexpected haul in just one day. Our school's maple sap evaporator will have a hard time keeping up with the over 100 gallons collected by the HOPE and Triumph students this Tuesday. HOPE Tabulated collection of 90 gallons from their section of the woods.  Little did we know five years ago when we invisioned maple sugaring on school property, that this effort would be so productive and that we would have a "sugar house" to make it happen.  More pictures will be posted once the sap is undergoing evaporation in the sugar house.  LINK TO 38 COLLECTING PICTURES

MAPLE RUN SCHOOL DISTRICT LEADERSHIP TRAINING
About 50 Administrators, staff and teachers from across the district came to St. Albans City School to focus on helping students identify their leadership skills on Monday 3-12-2018. It was a productive training session.
