Cut some Carrot flowers, put them in a glass with water colored with food dye and watch the
blooms change color.

The Polish word for carrot is Marchew.

Researchers at the USDA found that study participants who consumed 2 carrots a day were
able to lower their cholesterol levels about 20 percent due to a soluble fiber called calcium

BAND

Mr. Mehaffey would like to congratulate the beginning violins for a fantastic lesson yesterday.

Beginning cello's are this afternoon at 2:50.

Sr. Band is rehearsing today at 2.

Could Igz, Faith and Amber please come to the band room for lessons at 12:30.

Full Sr. Orchestra is rehearsing tomorrow.

SPIRIT WEEK
This week we are having a Spirit Week to celebrate Music in Our Schools Month. The theme for the spirit week will be Music through the Decades.  Through the week, music from each day's decade will play in the cafeteria.
