PICTURES AND REPORTS

SOFTBALL
The softball team won their first game this year 15-5 against Grand Isle - a strong performance! Nice work.  Picture from Ms. Stacie Rouleau. Thanks

Pictures and reports of sports are always welcome. Send to mcraib@maplerun.org

PreK & Kindergarten
With standardized SBAC testing going on in the school building on Wednesday and Thursday, our littlest students had to find ways of keeping really quiet during testing time while at school. One solution to this problem was to exit the building and go off campus for hours at a time. On Wednesday the young students enjoyed the perfect weather while playing in the Cioffi Park baseball/softball fields adjacent to Public works on Aldis Street. On Thursday the school buses off-loaded arriving kids at the Welden Theater to watch a movie. Thank you to the PreK and Kindergarten staff for making these two large-group field trips happen.

Some of the students at the Welden Theater prior to the start of the movie.

Students walked to school after the movie.

INVESTIGATORS
Grades 1 and 2 were in the little gym during SBAC testing where Ms. Cameron-Muscente photographed them building a ship out of blue blocks. Here is the cool result. 5-10-2018

HOMEWORK CLUB
After completing their work, and while waiting to depart for home, a few students in the club engaged in some gymnastics moves 5-9-2018.
