PICTURES AND REPORTS
WALKING LAP CONTEST RESULTS FOR WEEK THREE
In week two team Discovery walked and ran huge amounts to overtake the Voyagers in the overall contest to win one hour of pool party time. Each year the Voyagers make winning the overall contest their mission and Discovery wanted to see if they could give them a solid challenge this season. In week three both teams were at it again accumulating huge volumes of laps. The Voyagers returned to the leading position with 1818 laps to team Discovery's 1212. We have only four days left in the competition. Who will end up being the overall winner?
Noteworthy: Team Imagination kept up their commitment to walking lots of laps each week by remaining in the lead among 1-3 learning communities. Way to go Imagination!
We will try to get some team pictures of the Voyagers and team Imagination into the announcements on Wednesday.
VERMONT SUPERINTENDENTS ASSOCIATION MEETING
Five of our students attended the annual Vermont Superintendents Association meeting at Lake Morey Resort on Friday 5-25-2018. They were student members of our stewardship committee and they were there to showcase what stewardship means at St. Albans City School. Their 10-minute presentation included Jill the talking trash can, a whole-room dance and several videos. Everyone present was super impressed by the performance. That is good because those students worked really, really hard to put it together. Ms. Cavallo, Ms. Martinson, and Mr. Craib were there to witness their show.
