  INCOMING PRE-K AND KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
Each classroom teacher in Grades Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st grade have their own "Transition Book". The books are full of pictures and tell the students what to expect next year.

MASTER GARDENERS' VISIT
St. Albans City School is designated as an approved Master Gardening site where master gardeners and aspiring master gardeners can complete hours to meet the requirements of their certification. Heather Smith, our farm to school coordinator, led the tour. She is a long-time master gardener and the overseer of the many gardening projects initiated since 2013.
The purpose of the gardeners' visit was to showcase the needs of the various projects and to invite these master gardeners to donate their time to the school. The visitors found the tour interesting, as evidenced by the length of their visit. They left impressed with what had been accomplished by City School and enthusiastic to become a part of St. Albans City School's story. 6-21-2018
