WALKING LAP CONTEST COMES TO AN END It has been a well-traveled walking path for teams Voyagers and Discovery. Both teams posted impressive lap totals and both deserve well-earned praise. Team Voyagers make walking the path a part of their yearly team culture and that steady commitment helped them ultimately prevail over Discovery's tenacity and drive. The Voyagers should have a lot of respect for team Discovery for coming very close to winning. The Voyagers have earned one hour of pool party time at the St. Albans public pool on June 19th. Congratulations on a job well done! Team Imagination was the best walking team among the 1-3 learning communities, posting lots of laps each week. Their consistent effort deserves recognition. It is understood that smaller bodies, and their close supervision needs, impacted the number of laps possible by Pre-K through Grade 3 learning communities. When kids get to grade 4 and above huge lap numbers are more likely. Their turn will come. To all the other teams, thank you for participating in the walking contest. And, thank you to all those individuals scattered throughout the school who love walking and running and who completed tons of laps on their own -regardless of what their team was doing.
VOYAGERS AT CAMP ABNAKI
The Voyagers had a glorious two days of fun at camp Abnaki on May 29th and 30th. They shared many pictures with us for you to have an idea of what they did. They swam, boated, played gaga ball and basketball and much more... LINK TO 104 PICTURES.
EXPLORERS Ms. Lavoie's students put on two short fairy tale plays for families on Friday afternoon 6-1-2018. One play was Snow White and the other was The Tortoise and the Hare. Parents came to view the show and to read the student-created fairy tales students had worked so hard to write up.

SACS GARDEN WATER TANKS FILLED About three times a season the St. Albans Fire Department kindly fills up the school water tanks. The water is needed to water in new plants in the spring and to sustain vegetables, flowers and fruits during the dry parts of the summer. The firemen came by on Thursday. MS.
