USA/KINDERGARTEN CARNIVAL
Towards the end of each school year, Team USA puts on a wonderful carnival for kindergarteners. Usually, it takes place outdoors but this year the weather threatened and it was held inside the USA classrooms instead 6-1-2018. There was face painting, dancing, drawing, and various challenging, but fun, tasks. A good time was had by all. LINK TO 18 PICTURES
NEWS
Local St. Albans City School student Colin Hodet and his father participated in a Type 1 Diabetes Cornhole tournament this past weekend at Centennial Field (Lake Monsters). Out of 64 teams playing, they took home the first place trophy. Excellent job.
TRAVELERS
Team Travelers held a welcome back party in Ms. Hook's room for Ava who had been away recovering from leg surgery. Everyone was thrilled to have her back and she is happy to be with her team again. LINK TO 6 PICTURES
TRAIN SET IN THE LIBRARY
Mr. Mehaffey set up a substantial model electric train set in the library. Students from a range of teams have enjoyed seeing the train in action. It will be available for viewing all week. LINK TO 5 PICTURES
VOYAGERS
The Voyagers are shown here assembled in front of the golden shoe award for completion of the most walking path laps over the 1-month-long 2018 contest. They will hang onto the trophy until next year when some other team may win the right to hold and display it for a year. Great job Voyagers.
CHARITY ATTIRE
Mr. Brown was dared to wear a variety of crazy clothing in return for pledges to the food shelf. This attire netted well over $100 of donations.
