CALENDAR FOR THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR

EVENTS AND NOTICES

REACHING ST. ALBANS CITY SCHOOL BY PHONE
Over the next two weeks, our school will be installing a new phone system. This change is welcome since our old system is beginning to fail. For example, right now we have no voicemail system so if you want to reach us with a question or information you will need to do so during working hours - 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday-Friday. We appreciate your patience as we upgrade our infrastructure.

DO YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO WALK OR BIKE SAFELY TO AND FROM THE WALMART / HANNAFORD / PRICE CHOPPER SHOPPING DISTRICT?

Consider attending a public meeting on Tuesday, August 14th. You can hear what is being proposed and can voice your interests and concerns.

GOVERNOR SCOTT AND RISEVT'S SACS VISIT
We had a short-notice visit by Governor Scott, some of his cabinet and the Franklin County RiseVT team. The visit started with lunchtime in the cafeteria just before students left for the day after a morning of summer school. RiseVT handed out sunglasses and Governor Scott enjoyed the company of our kids. Just after 12:00 noon the RiseVT team, some St. Albans City School staff, the Governor and various students headed outside to play a great game of kickball. Governor Scott joined the students against the RiseVT team and the kids/governor won handily. It was a pleasant visit. LINK TO 66 PICTURES
