Programs offered: Exploring Local Ecosystems Fun in the Sun Sewing and Crafts Duke's Fitness Theater Program choices are limited and we will do the best we can to make sure everyone is enrolled in something they will like! *Acceptance letters will be distributed Thursday, June 13th!

IMPORTANT DATES JUNE Last Day of School for students moving to grades 2, 3, 5, 6 Tuesday, June 18th. Step-Up-Day (last day of school) for students moving to Kindergarten, 1, 4, 7 & 8 Wednesday, June 19th. This is a very brief school day Students moving into grades 4, 7, and 8 arrive at 7:30 AM and depart at 10:30 AM. Children moving into kindergarten and 1st grade arrive at 8:00 AM and leave at 10:00 AM. Last Day of School year on the 19th and is only for those grades doing step up day (see above). For everyone else, the last day of school is the 18th. Graduations for Fairfield, SACS and SATEC will be June 12 and BFA will be June 15 as Scheduled.

May 3rd. Parent Teacher Conferences May 27th. Memorial Day. No School.

Notice: Last Day of School has been moved from the 13th to the 19th.

EVENTS AND NOTICES All registrations for this summer's peer leadership mini-camp are due Monday June 10! We have several spots left for current 6th and 7th-grade students. Because this camp conflicts with other camps, we will only hold SEED camp for two days, July 15 and 16. Please return registration forms to Jamilah Vogel.  LINK TO FORM * Humanities Campers will be able to sign up for BOTH camps! * If any student is interested in this program but not able to register for camp, please talk to Ms. Jamilah to request an exception.

PICTURES AND REPORTS POOL PARTY AND SMOOTHIE BIKES The Voyagers, Team Triumph and Team Discovery all enjoyed the rewards gained through winning the two walking contests held in May. Voyagers and Triumph spent two hours at the pool enjoying a swim and some pizza. Voyagers and Discovery both got to enjoy fruit smoothies they blended up using pedal power. It was an amazing day to be outside doing these two activities. LITTLE LEAGUE PICTURES Here are photos of Jeremiah Prim, Wyatt Schifiletti, Darien Patterson and Louis Tatro. Thanks to Ms. Raleigh for the images. THIRD GRADE TRAVELERS BREAKFAST It is the time of year for transitions.  A number of grade groups will move up to new teams next year. This picture from the Travelers shows third graders being celebrated at a special breakfast before they graduate from their community. 8TH GRADE GRADUATION DANCE PARTY Following the graduation ceremony, 8th graders danced and socialized until 9:00 PM on June 12th.
