PICTURES AND REPORTS

RENAISSANCE IS COLLECTING NON-PERISHABLE FOOD
FOR OPERATION HAPPINESS

This is the picture of the total collection from last year

TIME CAPSULE
On Veterans Day we uncovered the “hole in the wall” where the 1968 stone and time capsule was located for the last 50 years. Then we played a game called:
“I wonder what will fit in the hole in the wall?”

How many cartons of cafeteria milk will fit in the “hole in the wall”? All cartons must be standing upright, they can be empty or full of milk, no cartons can be squished or altered in any way. The empty hole in the wall measures…
8 ½ inches high
17 inches wide
8 inches deep

Watch this one minute video to find the answer and see what else fits in the
“hole in the wall”!!!

NWTC - NORTHWEST TECHNICAL CENTER VISIT TO SACS
The 8th Graders had an opportunity to hear from BFA students who are taking full advantage of the huge array of learning opportunities the tech center offers. They heard how they can gain skills and certifications in some health care professions, the building trades, various media professions and much more. There are many ways to learn and the tech center expands students' options for building a foundation for a successful career once out of high school. 11-15-2019
