PICTURES OPERATION HAPPINESS FOOD DELIVERY 12-9-2022 The 8th graders were tasked with boxing the donated food and delivering it by bus to a staging room at Hungerford Plaza. The 7th graders took turns with the 8th graders to sort the food in two of the Renaissance classrooms prior to delivery. When the 8th graders arrived at the delivery site they were able to assist a group of Town School students offload the donations from SATEC before taking care of the boxes from St. Albans City School. A group picture was taken next to the boxes of donated food before students returned to their regular school day. All Renaissance students had an opportunity to contribute to the success of this large stewardship project. What: A Zoom dance party When: Thursday December 21 How: Classrooms will call into our Zoom link (will be sent to teacher email the day before the event) and dance with friends from across the school Details: Individual students and classes are invited to create coded dance. Students who submit a coded dance will win a chance for their class (picked randomly through a lottery) to have an in person dance party with RankinBot3000 and other famous SACs characters! WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA What is Wreaths Across America? It is a program where we honor deceased veterans by putting wreaths on their graves. Team USA is working with local Veterans groups to enhance the tradition throughout our community. Students will be holding a ceremony on December 16th at Mt Calvary Cemetery in St. Albans, VT.
