OPEN DOORS SEWING - SATO

These students have worked for a few months on learning to design, cut, and sew a project. Some involves hand sewing, like the pillows, and they can all use a sewing machine. Two students designed their own bag and made it in one hour! 12-15-2022

SNOW TUBE USE GUIDELINES

  • Enjoy sledding, be safe, and be kind to each other.

  • Walk up the hill behind the line of hay bales on your side of the sledding hill. This is to keep you from being hit by people sliding down the hill.

  • Never drag the snow tubes on the sidewalk. The bottoms will be scratched and they will not slide as well down the hill.

  • When you are done sledding, stack the snow tubes on the snow at the top of the hill. Do not bring them to the recess shed.

  • If you tied the tubes together, please untie them

MONTH of CODE 2022

Exploring computer science with creativity and fun at St Albans City School

The month of code is a great time to learn about all of the resources we have at St Albans City School!  The makerspace/STEAM team is here to support you both at home and at school and we invite you to check out the website we have created to learn more about all of the great coding opportunities available at every grade level. The Month of Code website can be found under the Enrichment tab on the St Albans City School website.  It is full of online resources and ideas sorted by grade level.  Activities include things you can do with and without a computer—Lots of fun for this week before break, or during break too!!

Also, don’t forget to submit your dance party code to the makerspace team for a chance to win a dance party with the month of code characters!
