    PICTURES AND REPORTS

    HOW TO COOK A TURKEY

Each Fall Ms. Williams' kindergarten classroom publishes students' stories of how to cook a turkey. Ms. Williams interviews each of her students and writes down exactly what they say. The results can be interesting.  Check out THIS LINK TO THE STORIES.  Here is one example:

We get our turkey from a cooking store. It is a fresh turkey and
weighs 55 pounds. We pay $5- that is a lot of money. We bring the
turkey home and rinse it in the sink with soapy water. When it is
all clean we put it in a pan. We put tiny little onions and spices like
salsa on the turkey. We put ham inside the turkey. We put it in the
oven for 4 minutes at 10 degrees. We wait for the timer to go off.
We keep checking the timer. We take the turkey out of the oven
and put yummy stuff like broccoli around it.

We eat turkey, potatoes, ham and apples. We have ice cream for
dessert and drink apple cider. We all take a picture together.

    TRAVELERS PIE PARTY

Teachers and students from the Travelers team hosted their annual Pie Party on Tuesday. During this event, the Travelers gather together and enjoy a special dessert with their school family. We were fortunate that many family members from home were also able to attend. Thank you to everyone that was able to join us, it was a wonderful event and we're already looking forward to next years celebration!  LINK TO 22 PICTURES
