LIKELY RECESS WEATHER

The goal is to get the snow tubes out for use. Temperatures will be warm enough that the snow will be wet. Snowpants, waterproof jackets, mittens, boots are all advisable.

SNOW TUBE INSTRUCTION.  PLEASE KEEP THE SNOW TUBES OFF OF THE SIDEWALK. The sidewalk scratches the bottoms of the snow tubes and makes them slide poorly.

EVENTS AND NOTICES

ANTIBIOTIC AWARENESS WEEK
FROM OUR NURSES OFFICE AND THE CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL

Please stop by to visit the antibiotic awareness bulletin board outside of our nurses' office.

You have to use the right tool for the job. A power drill is the wrong tool to slice fruit, just like an antibiotic is the wrong tool to treat viruses, including colds and flu. Antibiotics are only needed for certain bacterial infections. When they aren’t needed, antibiotics won’t help you and the side effects could still hurt you. Ask your healthcare professional when an antibiotic is the right tool and when it’s not. Visit CDC.gov/antibiotic-use.

OPERATION HAPPINESS
OPERATION HAPPINESS - Is a program of the United Way of Northwest Vt.  It provides a basket of food and toys for the children in the family (16 and under) for nearly 1000 needy families in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties.

For St. Albans - call 393-4443 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm on Nov. 12 to 16 and Nov. 19 to 20Specific dates and pickup locations will be announced during registration.

If anyone would like to donate a toy, hat or mittens there are red barrels throughout Franklin and Grand Isle Counties.

PICTURE RETAKE DAY
Return photos along with $5 on retake day. There is no retake fee for glasses glare."  Friday, November 30th. 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Location: Professional Library.

Day of Code Reminder
(December 4th)

This year’s Day of Code will consist of some new activities that weren’t included
