On 11/30, we collected 247 food items! Altogether we have 683! That's great! We're almost half way there! Keep on bringing in food items to get towards our goal, and so we all can have that popcorn party!

PICTURES AND REPORTS

POINSETTIAS
Ms. Biggie organizes a poinsettia sale for teachers and St. Albans Community members. The money is used to assist with winter clothing needs. These two students were kind enough to help carry out and deliver some of the plants for customers around St. Albans.  11-29-2018

DRAMA PRACTICE

On Thursday afternoon students and drama staff gathered in the library space to practice for the 101 Dalmations play that will be shown in mid-December. 11-29-2018  Students were doing a good job with their lines but were having to learn how to speak loudly enough.

INVESTIGATORS
The Investigators hold a weekly event that celebrates their students. Each week a 1st, 2nd and 3rd grader is asked to stand up one at a time and be appreciated by her/his peers. Each child gets to ask 10 classmates for some positive characteristic of her/himself. A teacher writes these down on a piece of paper, adds a picture and it gets posted outside the classroom. At the end of the week, the highlighted children get to take the page home. By the end of the school year, every student has been celebrated and appreciated.  Here are a few pictures of this week's experience.
