RECESS WEATHER

When temperatures get this low, only those with snow pants, heavy jackets, thick boots, mittens and hats can consider going out. For most people, it should be an indoor recess day.

The snow tubes will be out, although little use is expecteds. If you spot any rocks on the hill, then please remove them before sledding.

EVENTS AND NOTICES

WE HAVE JANUARY'S WALKING WEDNESDAY
THIS WEEK - the 9th
The next one will be February 6th.

Please come out and join us.

These pictures are from last year in January

PARKING NOTE FOR FAMILY MEMBERS/PARENTS
There is concern about fire safety when the fire lane in front of our school has vehicles parked in it, especially so when drivers have left their vehicles to go inside. The front row of parking in the parking lot is available for parent/family parking, drop-offs and pickups and we encourage its use. Thank you.

For quick student drop-offs in the fire lane, vehicles need to be ready to move immediately in case a fire truck requires use of that lane

7/8 DANCE

On January 18th Team USA will be holding a dance. The dance will commence at 6:00 and will end at 8:00. The dance will be held in the USA hallway. Pizza and soda will be available in the language arts room. The cost to get in will be 3.00 dollars. The dance will include a movie, games, food, drinks, and of course dancing. Students will not be allowed to walk home. We hope to see you there.

FRIDAYS ARE RAIDER PRIDE DAYS
On Fridays, Ms. Trainer and Ms. Stacie Rouleau find two teachers who are promoting Raider pride by wearing white and blue. Those teachers receive bags of useful classroom supplies to share with their students. These pictures were taken on January 4th, 2019.
