OPEN DOORS
The Summer 2019 brochures have been handed out within the communities and at lunch! The Open Doors programs are for students going into 3rd-8th grade. We advise kids to plan on having 100% attendance, as waiting lists are made for most programs. Turn in your registration as soon as possible, as spots fill up quickly! The following programs are FULL for Summer 2019 Open Doors, July 8th-12th: Cultural Cooking and Crafts Yoga and Just Dance Minecraft Gardening Never Bored Games Programs with space: Exploring Local Ecosystems Hip-Hop Drumming Sports Sampler Theater Week two has PLENTY of open opportunities - sign up today for July 15th-19th! Programs offered: Exploring Local Ecosystems Fun in the Sun Sewing and Crafts Duke's Fitness Theater Program choices are limited and we will do the best we can to make sure everyone is enrolled in something they will like! *Acceptance letters will be distributed Thursday, June 13th! Step-Up-Day (last day of school) for students moving to Kindergarten, 1, 4, 7 & 8
Wednesday, June 19th. This is a very brief school day Students moving into grades 4, 7, and 8 arrive at 7:30 AM and depart at 10:30 AM. Children moving into kindergarten and 1st grade arrive at 8:00 AM and leave at 10:00 AM. Last Day of School year on the 19th and is only for those grades doing step up day (see above). For everyone else, the last day of school is the 18th. Graduations for Fairfield, SACS and SATEC will be June 12 and BFA will be June 15 as Scheduled. |

KINDERGARTEN/USA CARNIVAL Each year Team USA hosts all the kindergarteners in an outdoor and indoor carnival. New and old 7/8 grade students and staff bring their ideas and enthusiasms to the event making the event fresh and fun. Here is a LINK TO 31 REPRESENTATIVE PICTURES of the Carnival. PUPPET SHOW
The puppeteers from the library returned to St. Albans City School for several shows for our younger students. This is an annual event that is very much looked forward to. There were lots of smiles and laughter from the children and adults present. 6-6-2019. LINK TO 36 PICTURES
