WALKING WEDNESDAY RESULTS
Ninety-six students and thirteen adults walked into school on Wednesday morning. Even though it was overcast, it was very pleasant outside making it a great day for walking to school. The Investigators had the largest turnout for a learning community, which is always an impressive result.

CIDER SERVED ON WALKING WEDNESDAY
HOPE (hands-on practical education) students and staff served some of the cider made by PreK and Kindergarten students the previous day. All the people who walked on Walking Wednesday were invited to have a cup to drink. The sweet cider was well received. 10-30-2019

CIDER MAKING:

DREAMERS

Here are some photos of Ms. Gina LeBlanc's morning preschool class from the cottage. The kids did an amazing job sitting, listening, watching and participating in the cider-making process. They loved the taste too!

NAVIGATORS
Ms. Laidman's students went into the HOPE learning space to crush apples and press apple juice, otherwise known as cider.  LINK TO 19 PICTURES provided by Ms. Asato-Ditch 10-29-2019

THE KINDNESS COMMITTEE CREATES AGAIN
The Kindness Committee from Team USA (several were not available for photographs) prepared a meal for teachers staying late for conferences. The meal included a hearty bowl of chili, tasty cornbread and a few small cookies for dessert. 10-30-2019.  The students  got a chance to try out the food they put together prior to bringing it to the teacher's room.

BOOK FAIR WINNER
One of our 2nd-grade students was the winner of the book basket from the Book Fair. She picked up her basket on Tuesday afternoon this week.
